ISLAMABAD, Dec 23: Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) and Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on Friday sought explanation from Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF) for not holding fresh elections despite its office-bearers having completed four-year term.

The office-bearers of PWF, including its president Shahid Ali Shah and secretary Muhammad Arif Chaudhary, had completed their four-year tenure on Dec 22 this year.

This was not the first time that PWF had failed to conduct elections for a fresh four-year term.—APP
