LAHORE: The UET and the Lahore College for Women University organised a seminar on “Reshaping STEM Workforce Landscape for Economic Growth and Development”.

The first event was held virtually where accomplished Pakistani women in STEM fields highlighted the problems of women in STEM.

Participants included Amazon technical lead Sara Ilyas, researcher at the Bio robotics Institute of Italy Dr Yasmin Ansari, senior researcher at the Brno University of Technology Dr Sadia Shakil, Adjunct Faculty University of Buffalo Dr Naila Sahar and EDF climate corps fellow Fizza Khan.

The second event was held in the UET where Dr Aqsa Shabbir and Prof Dr Amina Muazzam from the LWMC and Dr Rabia Nazir and Prof Dr Saima Yasin from the UET spoke.
