Free Covid shots

KARACHI: Dr Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre CEO Prof Dr Farhan Essa on Thursday announced launching of a free of cost paediatric Covid vaccination drive in Sindh and Balochistan.

Addressing a news conference in the local press club, he along with other senior executives of the lab and Unicef representative Suneel Raja gave a briefing on the drive supported by USAID, Unicef, WHO and Sindh EPI.

Prof Farhan said that around 2.4 million children under the age group 5-11 would be vaccinated in schools, parks and markets.

The second phase of the drive would be launched next month, he added.
