U-17 district hockey

LAHORE, Dec 20: Toba Tek Singh will defend the title in the fifth Punjab U-17 Inter-district hockey championship for boys to be held at National Hockey Stadium from Dec 24 to Jan 2, 2006. Around 700 players from all the districts of the province will appear in the championship.

Lahore districts had won the title twice, first in Jan 2000 and second time in Oct, the same year. Okara and Toba Tek Singh won the third and fourth editions, respectively. Jalil Ahmad Chauhan has been named as organizing secretary of the event.
