Customs reach 239 for six

KARACHI, Oct 15: Reigning champions Pakistan Customs made steady progress to reach 239 for six against ADBP in the Patron’s Trophy Grade-I fixture at Sheikhupura Stadium Monday, says a message received here.

Shadab Kabir, the left-handed Test discard, who bagged a pair against Sui Gas last week, contributed 48 while putting on 84 for the second wicket with Imran Mohammad.

Imran, who belongs to the illustrious Mohammad family being Sadiq’s son, top-scored with 52 off 134 balls in just over three hours.

Asim Kamal (29), skipper Aamir Bashir (26) and left-hander Naseem Khan (39) also chipped in with useful knocks.

ADBP’s new ball pairing of Faisal Afridi and Rao Iftikhar Rao claimed two wickets each, conceding 55 and 62 runs respectively.
