HARIPUR, Dec 20: Haripur jail authorities here on Tuesday awarded certificates to 45 juvenile prisoners who had completed their computer training courses. Superintendent central prison Haripur Malik Fakhar-e-Alam was the chief guest while Deputy Superintendent Mian Mohammad Anwar, Assistant Superintendent Zubair Khan and a representative of the Aurat Foundation, Syed Tahir Ali Shah, attended the ceremony.

Speaking to the participants, the jail superintendent said that the jail authority, in collaboration with the Aurat Foundation, was utilizing its efforts to provide maximum skill development and educational facilities to child prisoners during their stay in the jail so that they could turn into useful citizens once they were released.
