KARACHI: WB team meets CS

KARACHI, Dec 20: A two-member World Bank team comprising senior economist Deepak Mishra and consultant Syed Ashraf Wasti on Tuesday met Sindh Chief Secretary Fazlur Rehman and discussed WB-assisted projects in the province.

Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Ghulam Sarwar Khero, Secretary Finance Malik Israr Hussain and other officials were also present.

The WB team discussed progress on utilization of ADP funds, procurement reforms, service delivery system, civil service reforms, devolution process, and development projects in education, health and social sectors, besides the role of Sindh Public Service Commission. —PPI
