KARACHI: Winter vacation

KARACHI, Dec 19: The Sindh education department has revised the schedule of winter vacation for the public and private educational institutions in the province. According to a notification of the department, now the vacation has been stretched to 13 days, instead of 10 days. Now the schools and colleges and other educational intuitions of the Sindh government and those in the private sector would be closed from Dec 26 to January 7. About 11 months back, steering committee of the education department had decided to close the schools and colleges for 10 days, from Dec 24 to Jan 2.
