KAACHI, Dec 17: Four-year-old bay colt, Chaleswan Chur, is fancied to make amends when the Winter Gymkhana race meeting takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

After returning with flying colours in the Nov 27 meeting with riding boy Muhammad Essa in the saddle, the colt settled for second place behind Air Blue on Dec 4.

Drawn alongside seven contestants in the six furlongs third race of the programme restricted for Pakistani horses in Class V, Div 1 & 11, he starts as our day’s best.

Blue Breeze and Excalibur are poised to fight for the following two places.

A card of eight races has been chalked out for the day with first race starting at 12.00 noon.
