DCO, local govt secy replaced

LAHORE, Dec 16: The Punjab government on Friday appointed a new local government secretary and the Lahore district coordination officer. Housing Secretary Akhlaq Tarrar has been transferred and posted as the local government secretary, relieving additional chief secretary Naguibullah Malik of the additional charge.

Lahore DCO Khalid Sultan has been transferred and posted as housing secretary in place of Mr Tarrar. Food director, Lahore, Mian Muhammad Ijaz has been made DCO. Punjab Relief Commissioner Irfan Elahi has been transferred and posted as food director. Housing Department deputy secretary Ahmad Ali has been posted as Ghazi Barotha, Attock, land acquisition collector.

Rajanpur DDO (Registration) Muhammad Arshad has been posted as Rajanpur DDO (revenue). —Staff Reporter
