George Clooney’s Batman & Robin suit up for auction

The superhero costume worn by George Clooney in 1997’s Batman & Robin is up for auction — and it comes with a “hyper-realistic” Clooney mannequin.

Heritage Auctions said the bat-suit, made famous by the Joel Schumacher film, will be sold as part of its Hollywood & Entertainment Signature Auction.

The listing states the suit has been “assembled on a life-size pose-able mannequin with hyper-realistic George Clooney head with prosthetic grade false eyes.”

“Costume pieces include hero signature cowl, full length superhero cape with two-cape clips, muscle tunic with signature ‘Batman’ icon on the chest, muscled tights, peaked and finned gauntlet gloves and knee-high character boots,” the listing states.

Super Junior releases new album

K-pop boy band Super Junior announced the release of the first part of their 11th album, The Road: Keep on Going, during an online press conference, after 17 years since its debut.

Group leader Lee Teuk said during the event that K-pop is loved by fans all over the world and Super Junior deserves a page in K-pop history since they led the global rise of the Korean wave, or ‘hallyu’ in Korean, with numerous hits.

Super Junior debuted in 2005 as a 13-member boy group under K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment. Super Junior is now one of the oldest idol groups in the South Korean music industry. The band, currently nine members, returned for the release of The Road: Keep on Going series titled “The Road” as its members continue their dynamic individual activities.

Monster High, Nickelodeon’s newest animated series

Nickelodeon has announced Monster High — the new animated series, which follows the teenage children of famous monsters as they discover who they are, embrace their differences, and learn to be fierce and fearless at the one place they all belong: Monster High.

Monster High is based on the Mattel toy franchise of the same name. Shea Fontana serves as showrunner and co-executive producer on the animated series, which will premiere on Nickelodeon in the fall.
