GUJRANWALA, Dec 14: A couple took away cash and jewellry from the house of a local lawyer on Wednesday and injured his wife and baby on raising an alarm in Wahdat Colony. Reports said a woman entered the house of advocate Sheikh Muhammad Arshad and asked about the lawyer, who was away. Later, the woman was joined by her accomplice, and the both snatched Rs20,000 in cash along with gold jewellry worth Rs90,000 from the lawyer’s wife. The couple injured the woman and her baby when she tried to raise an alarm. They escaped with the booty. Satellite Town police have registered the case and started investigation.
