Man to die for double murder

LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 14: District and Sessions Judge Lakki Marwat Anwar Ali Khan on Wednesday sentenced to death a man accused of double murder. Mohammad Shoaib, son of Gul Mohammad, resident of Ghaznikhel, was charged under section 302/324 PPC for killing Gulo Jana and Hasan Khan in September 2004.

The court found the accused guilty of committing the crime and awarded him capital punishment. The court also directed the convict to pay Rs100,000 as compensation to the legal heirs. The accused was also convicted under section 324 PPC and sentenced to three years’ rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs30,000.
