KARACHI: A sessions court has granted interim pre-arrest bail to the lone absconding suspect in the Jazlan murder case.

Hasnain Faiz, his brothers Irfan Faiz, Ahsan Faiz, their father Muhammad Faiz and friend Inshal have been booked for shooting to death Jazlan over a trivial dispute in Bahria Town Karachi on May 25.

Currently, Hasnain, Irfan and Inshal are in judicial custody while Mr Faiz was discharged from the case for the time being by a court concerned.

Ahsan Faiz was lone absconder in the case. He moved the bail application before Additional District and Sessions Judge (Malir) Faraz Ahmed seeking grant of bail before arrest.

His counsel submitted that the applicant wanted to surrender to join the investigation, but he apprehended his arrest by the police. Therefore, he pleaded the court to grant his client interim pre-arrest bail.
