RAHIM YAR KHAN: A local journalist was reportedly kidnapped from katcha area of Nawazabad between the districts of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur on Monday.
Reports said that Sher Muhammad Sahi, working with PTV at Sadiqabad, was going to Nawazabad area along River Indus on his car to purchase a used tractor when some dacoits allegedly kidnapped him. His car was later spotted in Shahwali police limits.
Katcha area of Indus is notorious for having hideouts of dacoits who mostly kidnap people for ransom.
