KARACHI, Dec 11: The municipal administration of the Landhi Town is all set to launch a 12-day long, anti-encroachment drive in the entire town from Monday.

A statement issued here on Sunday, said that on each day during the operation, anti-encroachment activities would be carried out in each UC of the town.

The operation has been named as “Tajawizaat se Pak Landhi Town.”

It is worth mentioning here that Landhi Town Nazim Mohammad Ismail Qureshi along with Town Municipal Officer Mohammad Nazir Lakhani recently reviewed the level of encroachments in different areas of the town.

They directed the shopkeepers to voluntarily remove the encroachments from outside of their shops before Dec 12, while notices were issued by the town administration.

The nazim has directed TO Abdul Rauf Jamali to make all-out efforts for the removal of encroachments from markets and areas of the town and take action without succumbing to any pressure.—APP
