PESHAWAR, Dec 9: The 3rd National Paralympics athletics championship, which will serve as trials to pick a Pakistani squad for the forthcoming Asian Paralympics Games to be held early next year, will begin on Saturday at Qayyum Sports Complex.

Nearly 200 physically disabled male and female athletes, who had been put in categories B2, B4 and CB would vie for top honours in 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m relay, long jump, high jump, shot putt, javelin and discus throw.—APP
