KARACHI, Dec 9: Five vessels carrying steel, containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Sondos, to unload and load general cargo, Golden Express, Satha Bhum, Iran Jahanara and Sinar Bontang, to unload and load containers, were berthed after the departure of as many.

The departing ships were led by Conti Asia, Corin Thaikos, Hyundai Advance, Y.M. Energy and Tanate, while Maria

N. M, Iran Mahallati, PONL Buenos Aires, Al-Fatah and Satha Bhum are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side at 87,614 tons comprising 18,145 tons of export cargo and 69,469 tons of import tonnage. The following ships are due on Saturday: Swat, with 69,996 tons of crude oil, Kota Mesra, with containers, Thor Spirit and Balgarka, with 15,000 and 26,000 tons of steel and Rambler, to load machinery.
