PESHAWAR, Dec 8: Speakers at a seminar held for the religious cadre of Pakistan Air Force at the Air Headquarters here on Thursday said that Islam provides solutions to all problems and guidance in the face of natural calamities like the Oct 8 earthquake. The seminar was organized by the PAF Directorate of Motivation and Religious Affairs.

Renowned scholars, including Dr Mirajul Islam of the Peshawar University, Dr Khalid Alvi, ex-DG Daw’ah Academy, International Islamic University, Islamabad, and Dr M. Saleem, spoke on topics like “Quranic philosophy of trials and tribulations, possibility of religion in the present era, and the rise and fall of nations in Islamic perspective.”

They emphasized that Islam provides guidance to all problems, including natural disasters and calamities like earthquakes.

In his address of welcome, Director of Education Group Captain Mohammad Naseer stressed the need for motivating PAF personnel and urged religious officers to fulfil their responsibilities and discharge their duties with dedication.

Earlier, director of Motivation and Religious Affairs Wing Commander Zamir Akhtar Khan explained the objectives of the seminar and urged participants to derive maximum benefit from the intellectual discourse.
