LAHORE, Dec 7: Soneri Bank and Sherwood earned wins in the Guard Rice cup polo tournament on Wednesday. Four goals by Asif Tiwana and two by Feroze Gulzar helped Soneri beat Adisseo 6- 4 1/2.
For the losers, who had a half-goal handicap, Junaid Ahmed scored two goals while Tariq Hashim and Yaqub Sial one goal each.
All five goals by Shahzad Aziz helped Sherwood beat Jeuni 5- 3. For the losers, Parvez Khan, Raja Amer Khan and Ali Riaz scored a goal each.
