QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo has expressed displeasure over the delay in projects initiated under the Quetta Development Package and said he would not tolerate any hurdle in the way of their implementation.

“These projects must be completed without further delay,” Mr Bizenjo said on Tuesday while taking serious notice of the slow pace of work. He directed the project head of the development package and other officials concerned to speed up work to expand Sariab and Sabzal road projects.

The chief minister said these development projects were meant to provide relief to the people. Major projects, such as the expansion of Inscomb Road, were designed to end traffic congestion, he said, adding that this project should be completed by May 31. Mr Bizenjo directed the chief secretary to review the progress of the projects and submit a report.
