OKARA: A man allegedly shot dead his sister over her insistence to do modelling.

According to the FIR, Sidra Khalid’s parents forced her to aspire to a career other than modelling but she insisted on materialising her dream. At their home at 5/1RA village near Renala Khurd, they had an argument over the issue and her mother Anwari Begum and father Khalid Mahmood reprimanded her while saying it was against their family tradition.

Sidra’s brother flew into rage and shot her dead over the issue.

The city police registered a case under sections 302, 311 and 34 of PPC.
