KARACHI, Dec 6: Taking notice of the difficulty being faced by a Gulistan-i-Jauhar consumer regarding errors in the electricity bill, the KESC Chief Executive Officer, Frank Scherschmidt, asked the concerned chief engineer to personally deliver the corrected bill at the consumer’s residence.

Mr Scherschmidt advised the KESC chief engineer to visit the consumer’s residence and regret the inconvenience caused by the erroneous bill due to computer error, said a handout released here on Tuesday.

He said that the new management of the KESC wanted to quickly develop a culture of prompt and friendly service to the consumers.

According to a KESC spokesman, the consumer was pleasantly surprised on receiving a corrected copy of his electricity bill and visit by the area chief engineer, zonal manager, executive engineer and SDO to extend friendly facilitation to the KESC consumer at his doorstep.—PPI
