ISLAMABAD: Turkish Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul on Wednesday said Pakistan and Turkey had very cordial relations and always supported each other through thick and thin. He was visiting Pakistan Baitul Mal headquarters along with his spouse to donate necessary food commodities among the underprivileged. He vowed to continue humanitarian support to the vulnerable people in Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) President Muhsin Balci said ration bags were a gift from the Turkish government to the underprivileged people of Pakistan.

He also appreciated Pakistan Baitul Mal’s efforts for the downtrodden and its proactive role to access the marginalised segments of the country.

A PBM official, Dr Zafar Khan Safdar, expressed his gratitude for the generous support of Turkey for the poor during Ramazan.
