PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Friday released Rs320 million for the affected people of Operation Zarb-i-Azb in North Waziristan and Khyber districts.

PDMA director general Sharif Hussain said the funds would be distributed among the registered affected families within the next two days by sending a message through their registered SIM cards.

Under the package, Rs12,000 would be distributed per month among families repatriated from Afghanistan, while a

ration allowance of Rs8,000 per family would be distributed through the registered SIM card, according to a press release issued here.
