VCOAS visits quake-hit areas

RAWALPINDI, Nov 2 : Vice Chief of Army Staff General Ahsan Saleem Hyat visited the quake-hit areas of Bagh and Lohar Bela in the Azad Kashmir on Friday. He met victims and inquired about their problems. He assured them that the Pakistan army would go all out for their rehabilitation.

The Naval officer reviewed the relief activities being carried out by the Pakistan army in the areas.

Later, he visited a pre-fabricated school at Lohar Bela and appreciated the efforts of the authorities concerned being extended to provide them the education.

Earlier, on arrival at Bagh, General Ahsan Saleem Hyat was briefed by the local commander on army relief activities.

Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sallah Ud Din also visited the earthquake stricken areas of Muzaffarabad, Rajkot, Hariala, Lammian, Malot, Lohar Bela and Chhamber areas of the AJK on Friday.
