DHAKA, Dec 1: A blast rocked Gazipur for the second time in less than 48 hours, killing an unidentified person and injuring at least 30 people, including policemen, lawyers and journalists on Thursday. The blast, just outside the office of the deputy commissioner, followed the powerful explosion at the courthouse on Tuesday that killed seven people, including two lawyers, and injured 20. A similar attack on a Chittagong courthouse on the same day killed two policemen and the suspected bomber.

The suspected bomber disguised as a tea vendor detonated the bomb he was carrying in the flask as the police intercepted him at a check post at about 11:40am, according to on-duty policemen and witnesses.
