ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati launched Pakistan Railways (PR) train branding initiative at a news conference on Monday.

On the occasion, he said PR’s branding policy will be taken to the federal cabinet in a week for approval.

Responding to PR’s offer, three firms have come up with an investment of Rs85 million for branding of passenger coaches and freight wagons to launch promotional campaigns to promote their brands.

Among the three investors, the Pakistan chapter of Shouguang Busines Group of China will make an investment of Rs50m, followed by Predam and Maxtelz JV Company offered an investment of Rs30m, while Jan Builder has offered investment of Rs5m.
