RAWALPINDI: A 17-year-old girl was reportedly raped by two people who also took her gold ornaments. In another incident, a teenage student of a seminary was allegedly sexually abused in Kallar Syedan area.

Father of the rape victim complained to Kallar Syedan police that his daughter would visit the fields to assemble animals roaming around, adding the suspect had been blackmailing his daughter.

He said on Wednesday his daughter collected some gold ornaments from her house to give to the suspect so he would stop blackmailing her, adding, she was kidnapped and later detained by the suspect and his friend.

The victim’s father said after his daughter regained her senses on Saturday, she told her father everything.

Meanwhile, another man, resident of Kallar Syedan complained to police that his 10-year-old boy had been studying in a local seminary where the suspect was also enrolled.

The boy’s father said that his son refused to go to the seminary and informed his mother that he had been sexually abused reportedly by the suspect and he was unwilling to go because he was afraid the abuse would happen again.

Police registered separate cases and launched investigations and raids are underway to arrest the suspect.
