Ali hits century

LAHORE, Nov 29: A superb unbeaten century by Ali Abbas helped Lahore Shalimar beat Multan by seven wickets in the National Under-19 Inter-region cricket one-day tournament at LCCA Ground on Tuesday.

Ali Abbas scored 106 off 141 balls as Shalimar achieved victory by scoring 231 for three. Usman Salahuddin also shone with 87.

A hurricane 69-ball knock of 81 by Mohammad Laeeq guided Faisalabad to a narrow three-wicket win over Sialkot at Chenab College ground in Jhang.
