LAHORE: The Peoples Youth Organisation (PYO) and the Peoples Students Federation (PSF) took out separate motorcycle rallies here on Tuesday to mobilise the public for the long march Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is leading from Karachi to Islamabad.

The long march will reach the city on March 6.

The PYO motorbike rally started from Charing Cross and culminated at Nasser Bagh.

It was led by Aslam Gill, MPA Faiza Malik, Yassir Bara, Atif Rafiq Chaudhry and Zahid Zulfikar.

The PSF bike rally was led by Musa Khokhar, Amer Shehzad, and Kamran Warraich and its participants drove their two-wheelers from the party’s provincial secretariat in Model Town up to the Ferozepur Road.

Hoisting party flags on their bikes, the participants raised slogans in favour of the party chairman for taking the initiative against the government which, they said, was economically murdering the masses through its ‘flawed’ policies.
