Sri Lanka has abolished the requirement for fully vaccinated travellers to undergo PCR or RAT tests prior to arrival in the country, according to the Daily Mirror.

For inbound travellers, if the recommended doses of the Covid-19 vaccination are completed and they depart from abroad two weeks after completion of vaccination, they will be considered as fully vaccinated, the report quoted the ministry as saying.

Similarly, it said children of eighteen years and below, who had obtained at least a single dose of a recognised vaccine, will be considered as "fully vaccinated" if departed from abroad two weeks after completion of vaccination.
