Demo termed warning to US

SUKKUR, Oct 15: Chief of Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan, Allama Shah Ahmed Noorani, has accused America of carrying out terrorist acts in Afghanistan and elsewhere, especially in the Muslim countries.

He said the seven-day air strike on Afghanistan was a genocide of Muslims, and it was shameful that the Pakistan government had extended its facilities for carrying such attacks from Jacobabad and Pasni air bases.

The JUP chief was addressing a press conference at Madressa Qadria Rizvia here on Monday.

He said that 500,000 children were killed in Iraq due to shortage of medicines, and 700,000 people were killed in bombing by US forces in the last 10 years.

He referred to the demonstration held at Jacobabad on Sunday by the people, and the strikes in the country which he said should serve as a warning to the US government.
