KHYBER: Special Assistant to Prime Minister Sania Nishtar inaugurated on Thursday Ehsaas Kafalat one window centre in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber tribal district.

MNA Iqbal Afridi, MPA Shafeeq Afridi and Deputy Commissioner Mansoor Arshad were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion SAPM Sania Nishtar said that the one-window facility would enabled the locals to get their registration and payment easily under one roof.

She said that more such branches would be opened in other districts of the country. She added that federal government set the target of providing educational scholarships to 10 million children from primary up to intermediate level.

Ms Nishtar said that educational scholarships were being provided to students throughout the country while an Ehsaas ration programme was also initiated for 20 million people on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan to facilitate the poor.

She said that creating awareness about those initiatives was the biggest challenge for the government it wanted the people to benefit from the extension of Ehsaas programme.

She said that mobile messaging had been started to needy people since the last three weeks when the programme had been launched. She said that government wanted maximum number of needy people to get themselves registered for the programme.
