LAHORE: The National Accountability (NAB) has written a letter to the Lahore deputy commissioner to auction the house of former finance minister Ishaq Dar in the light of a court order.

According to NAB, the estimated value of the four-kanal house in Gulberg is about Rs250 million.

Earlier, the NAB had withdrawn Rs500 million from Dar’s bank account and deposited it with the national treasury in a corruption reference against him.

The Lahore accountability court had declared Dar a proclaimed offender in the corruption reference.
