KARACHI: A large number of journalists staged a protest demonstration outside the Karachi police headquarters on Tuesday demanding immediate arrest of killers of journalist Athar Mateen, who was shot dead by armed bandits during a robbery last week.
The protest was jointly organised by all journalist bodies, including the Karachi Press Club, Karachi Union of Journalists and Karachi Union of Journalists (Dastoor). The protest demonstration was also attended by leaders of different political parties.
