LAHORE, Nov 28: The City District Government Lahore has received 11,500 applications for 887 vacancies of teachers in its schools. District Nazim Mian Amer has ordered selection of teachers on merit and their posting near their homes.

He has also ordered submission of the cost estimates for the repair of school buildings to the provincial government and inspection of the building of the Lahore Businessmen Association for Rehabilitation of Disabled in Ali Park for the establishment of a school for special children.
