Haris seals victory

LAHORE, Nov 27: Six goals by Sufi Muhammad Haris, including a hat trick, helped Master Paints Reds beat Sea Gold 10-3 to win the Polo Cup at the LPC ground on Sunday.

Haris scored back-to-back goals in the first chukker to give the winners a 2-0 lead.

In the second chukker, Masters scored thrice to lead 5-1.

Aamir Shahid (2) and Haris (1) were the scorers.

In the third chukker, Masters scored three more goals to gain 8-1 lead.

Haris scored back-to-back in the dying minutes to complete the tally.

One and a half goal handicap helped Dew Drops claim the third position beating Jeuni 6 1/2-6 in the subsidiary final.
