Over Rs2.35bn distributed

ABBOTTABAD, Nov 27: Cheques for over Rs2.35 billion have been distributed among earthquake victims in District Mansehra, said the district revenue officer at a press briefing on Saturday.

Sadiq Hussain Jadoon said that according to data compiled, at least 30,000 people had died in the quake, and 24,000 were seriously injured. Damage to property was yet to be finalized, but the compensation was being paid to all, including those claiming loss of properties.
