Pakistan has reported 3,914 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, down from 4,253 a day earlier.
In the last 24 hours, 47 more people succumbed to the virus compared to 50 yesterday. The national positivity rate stands at 7.2 per cent.
The total caseload is now 1,474,075 while the death toll has risen to 29,648.
The countrywide breakdown is as follows:
- Sindh: 978 cases, 27 deaths
- Punjab: 971 cases, 13 deaths
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1,374 cases, 6 deaths
- Balochistan: 47 cases
- Islamabad: 239 cases
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 31 cases
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 274 cases, 1 death
