DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Punjab Border Military Police (BMP) has recruited a woman officer for the first time in its history of the last 132 years (1890 to 2022).

Shazia Bibi has got the honour of being the first woman officer of the Border Military Police.

The BMP Rajanpur commandant and Risaldar handed over the appointment letter to Ms Shazia.

“I am proud to receive this honour and I am especially grateful to CM Usman Buzdar who paid special attention to these areas and today a female official is going to be a part of this force. We must be ready at all times to protect Pakistan,” said Shazia about her posting.
