LAHORE, Nov 26: A dying-minute equaliser by Sabir helped Sargodha draw 2-2 with Lahore in the Punjab Inter-district football championship at Punjab Stadium on Saturday.
Sargodha opened the scoring with a 31st-minute Amjad strike before Lahore restored parity through Zahid Niaz who netted in the 38th minute. Lahore went 2-1 up after a Mohammad Shafique goal a minute later.
Sabir capitalised on a defensive blunder to equalise in the 88th minute.
Sargodha will meet Bahawalpur in the last league match on Sunday, while Lahore face Faisalabad.
