MUZAFFARGARH: City police arrested a young man on charges of harassing women and issuing them death threats in Muzaffargh’s market on Saturday.

Two young men harassed as many women who came to the market for shopping. They used abusive language and issued them death threats. The women made footage of the incident. They called emergency 15. The sister of the women, a lecturer in a public college, registered a case against the suspects, including Roman, the son of Dr Inamul Haq. Acting on the complaint, police arrested Roman.

SEALED: Two housing schemes were sealed in Layyah on the order of district administration while six of their owners were arrested.

DC Shahbaz Hussain and DPO Nida Umer Chattha started the operation and demolished the walls and gates of the schemes. When the operation started, some owners tried to resist but DPO Chatha issued orders for their arrest.
