DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Election Commission of Pakistan has summoned federal minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and his brother Umar Amin, a candidate for Dera city mayor slot, to appear before the chief election commissioner in Islamabad on Feb 1 (today) over repeated violations of the election code of conduct despite warnings.

A notice issued by ECP here on Monday stated that in case of non-appearance, unilateral action would be taken against both the minister and his brother.

Meanwhile, the regional election commissioner also summoned MNA from Tank Asad Mehmood Khan for campaigning and influencing the election process in Dera Ismail Khan.
