CM Bizenjo, Achakzai discuss Reko Diq, other issues

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo met Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai at his residence on Monday.

Informed sources said that Mr Bizenjo discussed with Mr Achakzai the political situation and provincial issues, including Reko Diq and the law and order situation.

The chief minister informed the PkMAP chairman about the progress of the government’s development policy and the Reko Diq project.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said the combination of Pakhtun and Baloch groups lent beauty to Balochistan and both were true heirs of the province.

“Individuals from both nations are united for the development, prosperity and protection of the common interests of the province,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Achakzai said that his party would give full support to every good initiative of the provincial government in the interest of the province and the people.

Mr Bizenjo congratulated Mr Achakzai on his election as the chairman of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party.
