BAJAUR: The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MPA from Bajaur Eng Ajmal Khan faced public criticism and anger after he allegedly misbehaved with a senior citizen in Khar Bazaar on Friday.

The unpleasant incident took place when the PTI lawmaker along with social welfare minister Anwarzeb Khan was talking to a group of traders in the bazaar when a senior citizen, namely Sultan Khan, question their ‘long’ absence from the area.

Instead of pacifying the elderly citizen, the MPA and some party activists used abusive language against him.

A video of the incident went viral on social media soon afterwards, showing Mr Ajmal and his aides abusing the senior citizen.

People belonging to different walks of life, including the PTI workers, expressed concerns about the ‘inhuman’ behaviour of MPA and his friends with the senior citizen.

They threatened social boycott of the MPA and his friends if they didn’t apologise to the elderly man.
