LAHORE: Four people lost their lives and 1,456 others were tested positive for coronavirus in Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Two persons lost their lives in Lahore and one each in Multan and Rawalpindi, and the death toll reached 13,097.

During the last 24 hours, 21,253 tests were conducted in different cities of the province and 974 people were tested positive for the virus in Lahore, 255 in Rawalpindi, 47 in Faisalabad, 41 in Multan, 37 in Sialkot, 21 in Rahim Yar Khan, 20 in Bahawalpur, 13 in Sheikhupura, nine in DG Khan, seven in Sargodha, five each in Gujranwala and Okara and three each in Attock and Mianwali.

The positivity ratio in Lahore remained 12.8 per cent, 13.1pc in Rawalpindi, 8.4pc in Faisalabad and 2pc in Multan.
