SHIKARPUR, Nov 24: A man and a woman were killed on the pretext of karo-kari in the Waqarabad village of the Khanpur taluka on late Wednesday night. The deceased were identified as Sher Dil, 35, son of Mohammad Ayoub Jatoi, and Moran, 22, wife of Hameer Shar.

Shaman Jatoi, brother of Sher Dil, lodged an FIR with the Khanpur police against Naseer Shar, the father of Moran, and three others, Sajjan Shar, Shahal Shar and Bagoo Shar.

Meanwhile, two other women, Zulekhan and her daughter Saima Mughal, on Wednesday were strangulated to death by unidentified men in their house at the Saddar Mohalla of Shikarpur.

The New Foujdari police registered a case against unidentified persons.
