LAHORE: The National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) completed rehabilitation work of 600 MVA transformer at 500kV Sheilhupura grid station and energized it on Sunday morning.

An NTDC spokesman said during rehabilitation power supply to end consumers was managed through alternate sources and the load management was not carried out in any part of its jurisdiction.

“To ensure smooth power supply to consumers and to avoid loss of revenue, rehabilitation work of the transformer was carried out on an emergent basis.
