SWABI: A man allegedly killed his wife when she refused to return to her home with him in Razar tehsil here on Sunday.

Police said that incident occurred in Mir Ali village. Officials of Parmuli police station said that Farman Ali and Janab Ali, two brothers, visited the house of the in-laws of the former. They said that Farman’s wife had left her house a few months ago when she clashed with her husband over some domestic issue.

Farman and his brother allegedly opened fire on her when she refused to go with them. She was seriously injured and later died while being shifted to hospital.

The mother of deceased woman registered FIR at Parmuli police station against Farman and his brother.

Meanwhile, three people snatched a car from the driver near Swabi Interchange on motorway.

Registering an FIR in Chota Lahor City police station, driver Sarfaraz Khan said that the car-lifters hired his car in Rawalpindi to go to Swabi but near the interchange they snatched the car from him at gunpoint.

Police registered an FIR and started investigation.
